Nagoya Castle events
Next up: the Be GOLD night illumination, October 18 to 24, 2026. The castle is lit from 17:00 to 20:00, you can enter until 19:30, and Honmaru Palace stays open late (last entry 19:00). It goes ahead rain or shine.

Tips for the evening
See the Nishinomaru Okura Museum before 16:00. Honmaru Palace is open until 19:30 on Be GOLD days (last entry 19:00), so you can leave it for the evening, after the lights come on at 17:00.
From Nagoyajo Station on the Meijo Line, it is about 5 minutes on foot from Exit 7. From Sengencho Station on the Tsurumai Line, about 12 minutes from Exit 1.
